BA Global Talent is seeking a qualified professional to join as an On-Site Senior IT Business Analyst (ServiceNow) at the Florida Department of Transportation within the OIT Application Services Team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a core liaison between department business offices and Information Technology to intake ideas, refine technology proposals, and support governance activities throughout the entire proposal lifecycle using the ServiceNow platform. Apply now for an opportunity to start or further your career with a young, fast-growing company that values its front line.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Proposal Refinement & Intake: Coordinate stakeholder identification and conduct structured intake meetings with submitting business offices to refine raw ideas into high-level operational objectives, scopes, and constraints.</li><li>Business Case Development: Elicit, document, and analyze critical business case elements including Return on Investment (ROI), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), cost-benefit analyses, initial risk matrices, and cost-savings narratives.</li><li>ServiceNow Demand Customization: Categorize, score, and prioritize technology proposals within ServiceNow by mapping collaborators, identifying impacted applications, and evaluating technical feasibility patterns.</li><li>Process Mapping & Diagramming: Research complex inter-relationships across business units to document and diagram detailed "as-is" and "to-be" business and system processes using process modeling techniques.</li><li>Executive Presentation Delivery: Prepare executive-ready materials, documentation, and presentations that clearly summarize proposal value, risk, and feasibility to guide leadership funding decisions.</li><li>Lifecycle Governance Collaboration: Partner alongside the Demand/Proposal Manager to maintain visibility of workload tracking, ensure accurate timekeeping, and shepherd demands smoothly through defined governance lifecycle states.</li><li>Requirements Translation: Bridge the gap between business and technical teams by translating high-level strategic goals into functional system specifications, context diagrams, and technical overviews.</li><li>Compliance & Risk Assessment: Support the successful completion of required cybersecurity risk assessments and ensure all documentation complies with departmental policies and standards. </li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>A minimum of 3 years of experience in business process analysis and requirements documentation is required, including a proven track record of independent facilitation with executives and subject matter experts.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or a related field is required (equivalent work experience may be substituted).</li><li>Direct experience facilitating the intake of ideas and converting them into documented demands/proposals within ServiceNow or a similar enterprise portfolio management tool.</li><li>Required proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, featuring advanced skills with Microsoft Visio for process mapping/modeling, alongside Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Required experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for document management, with preferred exposure to Microsoft Power BI for executive-level reporting.</li><li>Professional industry certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, PMP, or ITIL are highly desired but not required.</li><li>Ability to submit your resume and documentation strictly in PDF or Word doc format, as other formats (such as JPG) will result in automatic disqualification. </li></ul>On-Site: Tallahassee, FL 32311Schedule: Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to work business hours between 7 AM and 7 PMOnly resumes submitted in English will be considered.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for job opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.BA Global Talent connects professionals across the Americas with meaningful opportunities at U.S. companies.
