Earned a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Family and Consumer Studies with a specialization in Child Development or Early Childhood Education, Educational Psychology with a specialization in Child Development, Elementary Education, Psychology, or Family Life Studies; AND two years of professional experience in early childhood programs or parenting education. Demonstrated ability to teach course work in specialty areas such as parent education, trauma informed care, special education and inclusion, bilingual education, childcare centers, parent participation pre-k cooperatives, family resource centers and working with practicum and lab aide students.
