Responsibilities include tracheostomy care, ventilator care, bilevel positive airway pressure, continuous positive airway pressure, intravenous therapy, peripherally inserted central catheter care, central line care, wound care, bowel programs, total parenteral nutrition, drains and tubes, pulmonary care, laryngectomy care, gastrostomy and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube feeding, and care of high-acuity rehabilitation patients. Medical Surgical Floor specialty position supporting patients with complex neurological, spinal cord, stroke, trauma, burn, amputation, and high-acuity rehabilitation needs.
