Required Qualifications: Two years of experience; travel experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; state or compact license in hand at submission; experience with blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, cerebrovascular accident and acute stroke management, external ventricular drain management, hypothermia protocols, intracranial pressure monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, lumbar drains, post-craniotomy care, post-neurosurgery management, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury. The role provides care for adult patients in a neurological intensive care setting, with responsibility for complex neurocritical care, required weekend coverage, and potential float rotation across intensive care, intermediate care, and telemetry units.
