Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: High School diploma or GED; completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or Sonography Program from an approved school; registered with ARRT in Radiography (R) or ARMRIT (MRI) within one year of employment; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association; minimum 0 years of experience preferred, but at least 1 year of MRI Technologist experience is preferred; EPIC experience is required, with a candidate expected to pass an EPIC assessment on the first day of the assignment. Additional Information: The position involves operating MRI equipment, following safety protocols, obtaining and documenting patient safety and medical history, recognizing normal and abnormal imaging findings, and maintaining supplies.
