Required Qualifications: Two years of experience; travel experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; experience with arterial line management, bilevel positive airway pressure and continuous positive airway pressure management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, chest tube insertion and management, continuous intravenous sedation, cerebrovascular accident care, emergency department care for adult and pediatric patients, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, intravenous vasopressors, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, intravenous access, and triage. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, and unit secretary support.
