Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Tech Specialty: Sterile Processing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: Tuesday through Friday = 0700-1530 & Saturday 0900-1730 Experience: 1+ years of experience preferred License: N/A Certifications: CRCST through HSPA or CBSPD Required Must-Have: - Knowledge of sterile processing - Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team - Experience and understanding in the use of computers - Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment Description: The position is responsible for assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and storing procedure trays, surgical trays, and equipment. Takes measures to allow for easy instrument tracking, including following labeling processes, use of engraver, and documenting all missing instruments and implants replaced in trays.
