The role involves extended periods of standing and walking; frequent bending, reaching, twisting and crouching; repetitive hand and arm movements associated with dishwashing, cleaning and food preparation; pushing and pulling carts and equipment; and lifting and carrying routine cookware, dish racks, supplies, food products and waste containers. Employees work around hot water, steam, hot surfaces, commercial dishwashing and kitchen equipment, refrigeration and freezer environments, cleaning and sanitation chemicals, food allergens, noise, waste materials and wet or slippery surfaces.
