SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-09 Level MUST possess at least 1-year of specialized experience or equivalent at the next lower grade of GS-7; experience in developing, managing, and executing the Emergency Management programs; experience in training military, civilian, and contract personnel in contingency operations; experience maintaining Emergency Management response equipment; experience in writing, designing, formatting, publishing, and presenting specific EM program assigned work to peers and immediate supervisors at workshops or special committee meetings; passive defense measures; principles of contamination control. Review existing plans to ensure EM planning and response actions are included in the Anti-Terrorism Force Protections (AT/FP), Medical Contingency Response, Disease Containment Plans, state and local plans (as applicable), Emergency Operations Center (EOC), and CBRN Control Center checklists in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) directives, National Response Framework (NRF) organization, National Incident Management System (NIMS), and the Air Force Incident Management System (AFIMS).
