p>Qualifications: A minimum of a two-year diploma or equivalent in any biological science or chemical science from an accredited/approved educational institution and successful completion of the Medical Laboratory Technology training program which includes Blood Banking (Immunohematology), Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology; OR A minimum of a two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology which includes Blood Banking (Immunohematology), Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology.
Job Duties:
The Medical Lab Technician (MLT) has extensive knowledge of clinical laboratory science, possesses the skills necessary to perform high complexity testing, and has a broad knowledge and understanding of theory and the clinical relevance of laboratory testing and reporting.
