Some laboratory disciplines may require more stringent certification criteria.\n \nAcceptable credentials (can vary depending on the laboratory section): \n\n Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) \n Medical Technologist (MT) via the American Medical Technologists (AMT) \n Blood Bank (BB) via the ASCP \n Chemistry (C) via the ASCP \n Cytogenetics (CG) via the ASCP \n Cytotechnologist (CT) via the ASCP \n Hematology (H) via the ASCP \n Microbiology (M) via the ASCP \n Molecular Biology (MB) via the ASCP \n Specialty in Cytometry (SCYM) via the ASCP \n Histology Technologist (HTL)\n \nRecent quality and technical coordinator experience preferred.\n \nFamiliar with regulatory requirements for laboratories.
