Operates equipment including, but not limited to: cellular/radio communications, electronic security systems, fire command systems, self-defense weapons, and other equipment related to life-safety and security currently in use by VMFH; uses closed circuit television (CCTV) surveillance equipment, access and alarm programs, to monitor any unusual activity on the grounds or vicinity. Every day you will patrol buildings (foot/vehicle), identify security violations, investigate incidents, respond to alarms/emergency codes, control hospital access, monitor detection systems, support helistop operations, and de-escalate or physically restrain individuals when necessary.
