Police Officers perform a variety of duties to ensure that the university campus is a safe environment for faculty, staff, students, and visitors by preserving the peace, preventing and detecting crime, enforcing the law, and protecting the rights of all citizens. Detects and solves crimes; makes arrests, collects evidence, writes reports, and testifies in court as necessary.
