Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to use (or learn) electronic workflow systems; online legal research services (e.g., Lexis, Westlaw), searchable conflicts databases (e.g., Intapp), ethical wall builder databases (e.g., Intapp), finance databases (e.g., 3E), and other research or reporting tools (e.g., CPi or web-based ad hoc reporting software). The Conflicts Attorney’s responsibilities also include providing guidance and implementing department administrative objectives as needed, overseeing and serving as a department and Firm resource for Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), lateral conflicts checks, and ethical screens; and actively participate in decision making in connection with conflicts resolution, business clearance and related ethics matters.
