The ideal candidate will have experience with complex commercial, governmental, or infrastructure-related transactions, including contracts, procurement, public finance, grants, real estate, public-private partnerships, and minority and disadvantaged business enterprise programs. While the primary focus of the position is transactional and advisory work, the Assistant Attorney General may, as needed, provide legal support in other areas affecting MDOT operations, including ethics, Public Information Act matters, administrative or judicial proceedings, and other agency legal matters.
