Under the direction of senior legal staff, drafts, interprets and provides analysis related to various legal documents, which may include property acquisitions, construction contracts, compliance reports, audits, safety reporting and other documents related to the operation of a major interstate pipeline system; reviews legislative and regulatory activity and performs legal research as directed; supports assigned client group by reviewing regulatory and judicial orders, legislative changes, and regulatory rules and policies; and performs additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. Combined, BHE Pipeline Group operates approximately 21,200 miles of pipeline with a design capacity of approximately 21.1 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day, owns assets in 27 states and is an industry leader in natural gas transportation.
