Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain a busy caseload; Draft, update and maintain spreadsheets to track status of cases; Assisting in document review, organization and production and prepare privilege logs; Assisting with depositions and exhibit preparation Reviewing court dockets and electronic filing notifications; Assist counsel with all phases of litigation (pre-trial, trial and post-trial). Key Responsibilities Include: + Drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, complaints, and demand letters; + Managing e-discovery with vendors, including the collection, review, and production of electronic documents; + Conducting legal research and case investigation, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing relevant documents; + Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court officials, and other parties; + Organizing, reviewing, and summarizing case materials, legal documents, medical records, and discovery materials; + Preparing for trial, pretrial hearings, and motion submissions. Requirements Qualifications: + Minimum of four years relevant experience; + Proficiency in e-discovery processes and related tools; + Strong knowledge of document drafting, legal research, and trial preparation; + Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail; + Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.

In addition, compiling information for discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation are essential functions of this role. Paralegal opportunities are available in different practice groups, including General Liability, Product Liability and Labor and Employment.
The selected individual will handle large caseloads, prepare drafts of legal and other documents and correspondence for attorney review; compile, analyze and summarize information; and coordinate efforts between attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, other parties, and outside vendors. p>Join us if you have: • 5+ years of paralegal experience, depending upon practice area and position available • Bachelor's degree and completion of paralegal program of study, or clear demonstration of equivalent knowledge and skill • Knowledge of court and agency procedures and rules • Highly developed skills in time and task management • Highly developed attention to detail in striving for perfection in the firm's work product and client service • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computerized business applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for the creation and editing of complex documents, spreadsheets, and e-mail • Proficiency in the use of computerized legal research and document review/hosting databases; like LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER, Relativity, IPRO for performance of legal and fact research and effective management of complex eDiscovery, evidence and case files • Proficiency in the use of trial support software, like Trial Director and OnCue, very desirable • Experience in supporting complex commercial litigation matters across multiple offices in multiple jurisdictions preferred • Post-college level writing and oral communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with lawyers, clients and staff • High degree of attention to detail • Flexibility to work overtime and/or travel on occasion.
