Under general supervision of the Early Academic Outreach Director, the Regional Outreach Coordinator will form strategic educational partnerships with departmental/campus staff, school site/district administrators, community members, non-profit organizations, local businesses, students, and parents in order to provide direct oversight of educational partnership efforts within the region and improve their effectiveness in building a college going culture. Familiarity and sensitivity to academic, social, and emotional factors confronting students and families from diverse backgrounds; communication skills to prepare and deliver oral presentations and to prepare written reports, correspondence, proposals, program assessments, email and other materials for a variety of audiences, ensuring compliance with departmental and university guidelines, practices and principles.
