This role translates demand, supply, production, and bill-of-material signals into actionable material plans; identifies supply and inventory risks; and partners with Tier 2 suppliers to help ensure materials are available to support production and service objectives. Serving as a critical link across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sourcing, Product Development, and supplier partners, the Material Planner proactively manages material requirements, commitments, inventory, capacity, and constraints.
