SEKO Logistics has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager in the McAllen – Reynosa – Monterrey area. The Business Development Manager’s primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities and drive sales growth for the company’s freight forwarding services. The Business Development Manager is tasked with establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet those requirements. The role requires a combination of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills to effectively promote the company’s freight forwarding services.  Responsibilities  <ul><li>Identify and target potential clients to expand the customer base.</li><li>Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.</li><li>Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other business development strategies.</li><li>Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.</li><li>Create detailed proposals outlining the benefits and cost-effectiveness of the company's freight forwarding services.</li><li>Negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.</li><li>Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.</li><li>Understand clients' shipping and logistics requirements and provide customized solutions.</li><li>Address client inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of freight forwarding services.</li><li>Communicate client requirements and expectations to the operations team to guarantee customer satisfaction.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including client interactions, proposals, and closures.</li><li>Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in freight forwarding sales or a similar role within the logistics industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Knowledge of customs laws.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Must be proficient in English & Spanish, written and oral.</li><li>Must have a valid passport to travel to the US & Mexico regularly.</li><li>Proficient in using relevant sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.</li><li>Good organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>Willingness to travel 90%.</li><li>Base office available in US or Mexico</li></ul>Compensation <ul><li>Base salary plus commission</li><li>Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance available.</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>About Us Founded in 1976, SEKO Logistics (“SEKO”) provides a complete set of technology-enabled demand chain logistics solutions, including transportation management, contract logistics, forwarding, and warehousing services. OverviewAs a Retail Print Manager at Office Depot you will play a pivotal role in driving print sales and service growth within our high print volume store. The Print Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the print production process, managing print equipment and supplies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality print materials. As a Print Manager you will also be a "Key Carrier" and considered a leader on duty; responsible for opening and closing the store. The Print Manager must be able to work a flexible schedule that aligns with business needs, inclusive of the ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
