Perform clerical functions, including but not limited to: patient registration, appointment check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, verifying insurance, updating PCP, applying sliding fee as appropriate, answering the telephone, relaying messages, assisting Practitioner with completing medical forms, and scan documents into the patient's EMR. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports patient care through patient intake, vital signs collection, clinical testing, injections, procedure support, and EMR documentation.
