Grand Itasca's LPN's/MA's work closely with providers to deliver quality patient care and service by maintaining patient flow, escorting patients through the clinic, identifying patient needs, collecting/verifying information, administering medications, updating electronic medical records, implementing methods as directed to improve care and the patient experience, maintaining exam/treatment rooms, ordering related supplies and display original thinking & creativity while working effectively as an important team member. Consistent with section 148.211, subdivision 1 of the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act "Accountable for the quality of care delivered, recognizes the limits of practice and competency, and preforms to the level of education knowledge and skill ordinarily expected of individuals who have competed an approved LPN education program.".
