o Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care, strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, solid written and oral communication skills, ability to tolerate moderate to high stress levels, and experience reading telemetry strips. ● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o Unit A – General Medicine - DM, GI, Resp, Renal, Wounds, Dressing Changes, Observation Side Goal LOS less than 24 hrs.
Skills required: · Art line management, vasoactive medication titration, vent management and weaning (with RT support), chest tube management, critical thinking. · Unit Culture: Lots of smart, eager new grads on nights who need strong, experienced nurses willing to answer questions and help them gain confidence.
