The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure a safe and supportive environment during the evening shift. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 7-week contract at a skilled nursing facility in High Point, NC.
Performs advanced clinical tasks or skills such as removal of sutures and staples, catheterization, audiograms, laboratory procedures (throat/nose culture, drug screen, phlebotomy - butterfly, venous access, heel stick), EKG, spirometry, Holter monitor application, casting, complex wound care, etc., with demonstrated competency and under clinical supervision. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support nursing staff, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients. We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on the night shift.
Completes Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) approved waived laboratory tests and practice-specific diagnostic testing; including Point of Care testing for Hemoglobin A1C and other Point of Care testing as applicable. Responsible for all vaccine and pharmaceutical orders including applicable state Immunization Registry (NCIR) and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC) regulations and monitoring inventory level of clinical supplies specific to the practice setting.
