QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: Comparable trade experience; comparable trade experience is defined as 5 or more years of experience working in the applicable trade, 2 years of experience in shipbuilding, or education in the trade comparable to apprenticeship or 1 year minimum work experience as a B-class outside machinist at Austal. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb and balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
