Must safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment and effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include, but are not limited to, the following)<ul><li>Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance plans and activities safely, properly, and timely while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship. Assist in training of other plant personnel.</li><li>Utilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to assist in the development and the execution and follow-up on maintenance activities including but not limited to inspections, calibrations, repairs, and rebuilds.</li><li>Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.</li><li>Use and maintain all tools properly.</li><li>With assistance develop the ability to provide corrective actions to all levels of equipment/system failures utilizing root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques.</li><li>With assistance demonstrate ability to utilize advanced maintenance techniques and tools such as thermo-graphic, ultrasonic, and vibration analysis to assess the health of production equipment and predict failures before they occur.</li><li>Repair, modification and improvement of assigned production equipment with precision maintenance techniques as necessary.</li><li>Participate on the Kansas City TPM Project teams as needed.</li><li>Identify and/or correct potentially hazardous conditions.</li><li>Ability to safely operate a forklift.</li><li>Safely perform work, including adherence to Tyson Brands policies such as lock-out-tag-out (LOTO), hot work permit and confined space entry.</li><li>Works closely with Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Planners to develop opportunities for continuous improvement.</li><li>Assist in the development of individual performance objectives.</li><li>Work cooperatively in a maintenance culture that is focused on continuous improvement (LEAN), positive morale, and exceptional levels of customer service.</li><li>Understand and comply with all applicable Tyson Brands and governing agency policies by which we manage our business.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li><li>Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.</li></ul>FOR ALL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)<ul><li>Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule if needed in a cold, wet, humid environment with temperatures ranging from 35 to 50 degrees.</li><li>Must be willing and able to stand, sit, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel 67-100% of the time.</li><li>Must be willing and able to walk, talk, and hear 67-100% of the time.</li><li>Must be willing and able to bend, squat, and kneel 33-67% of the time.</li><li>Must be willing and able to able to taste or smell 0-33% of the time.</li><li>Must be willing and able to ascend and descend stairs 67-100% of the time.</li><li>Must be willing and able to lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. 67-100% of the time, 50 lbs. 33-67% of the time and 100 lbs. 0-33% of the time.</li><li>Must be willing and able to push/pull 300 lbs. 33-67% of the time.</li></ul>Relocation Assistance Eligible:NoWork Shift:ALL SHIFTS (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
