Plan, fixture, build, and document prototype units in support of new product development, including first-article inspection and build reports capturing lessons learned, also, executing manufacturing process improvement projects to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, scrap, rework, and non-value-added labor using lean and structured problem-solving methods; quantify baseline and post-implementation results. The position covers the full lifecycle: building and validating prototypes, developing manufacturing processes for new products, improving existing processes and driving cost reduction and engineering change activity to implementation.
