Work includes, among other things, conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, design calculations (e.g., voltage-drop, short-circuit, protection and coordination, harmonics, lighting, etc.), CAD design, specification development, testing, programming, and drawings development. The ideal candidate has a background in a combustion manufacturing environment (furnaces, boilers, refinery/O&G, glass or steel manufacturing) and uses PLC programming products, primarily those made by Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley.
