Under minimal supervision, operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) laser cutting machine, horizontal bender and press brake machinery to manufacture, bend or cut metallic or non-metallic products. CSJB Holdings, Inc. will utilize an outside firm or firms to assist it in checking such information, and applicants specifically authorize such an investigation by information services and outside entities of the company's choice.

Under minimal supervision, operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) laser cutting machine, horizontal bender and press brake machinery to manufacture, bend or cut metallic or non-metallic products.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply.)<ul><li>Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators.</li><li>Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optional performance of the equipment.</li><li>Knowledge about shield gases used during the laser cutting operation. </li><li>Reads and interprets blueprints.</li><li>Properly and safely loads and unloads materials or parts.</li><li>Operate loading and unloading equipment (fork truck, pallet jack, hand, etc.) in a safe and responsible manner.</li><li>Use precision instruments to check tolerances and quality of parts. </li><li>Report major delays in manufacturing or quality issues to Manufacturing Manager.</li><li>Performs daily, regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on laser machinery.</li><li>Troubleshoot minor program errors independently, work under limited oversight.</li><li>Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements, safety procedures and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Keep areas clean, organized and free of trash and clutter.</li><li>Basic understanding and ability to follow manufacturing processes and procedures with assistance.</li><li>Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions. </li><li>Attends scheduled meetings and actively participates by providing meaningful input. </li><li>Is flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to customer or company as circumstances warrant. </li><li>Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skills.</li><li>Provides constant feedback and input into improvement within the department.</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. </li><li>Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skills.</li><li>Excellent mechanical and conceptual skills. </li><li>Fast paced environment with fast changing priorities, must remain flexible. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and concern of importance.</li></ul> EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE <ul><li>Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques. </li><li>Three year of experience and /or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>High school diploma or GED preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul> Employee/applicants who receive offers of employment will be tested for controlled substances as a pre-condition for employment. The sample collection and testing will be for controlled substances. A positive test result for controlled substances will render an applicant disqualified for employment. Negative and positive results will be reported to CSJB Holdings, Inc. If the results are positive, the controlled substance will be identified. SUMMARYUnder minimal supervision, create 3D and 2D renderings of design ideas, new or existing manufactured components or information. Develop, create and interpret specifications and requirements based on knowledge, research, and analysis of data gathered through numerous methods, to provide accurate and valid documentation to be utilized in the manufacture of reliable parts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes the following, however, other duties may apply.)<ul><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools (micrometer, caliper, CMM, etc.) to accurately gather data for the development of documented items.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Produce CAD models and Qualified Prints to represent the desired objectives for specific projects while conferring with the Senior Engineer and/or the Engineering Manager to establish the project details.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Produce three-dimensional models and qualified prints; developing documentation, detailed instructions and specifications demonstrating proper manufacture, materials, assemblies, testing, etc.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Verify accuracy and determine proper application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Conduct research and mathematical analysis of collected data to ensure all aspects of a component are feasible, effective and meet the requirements of the original objective.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Work with Engineers as well as other influential personnel to determine and recommend modifications, specifications or any other deciding factors that may be beneficial to the anticipated part and/or to improve upon an existing component.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Provide technical assistance to customers to ensure their needs are met.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Provide technical assistance to our suppliers to ensure they are able to meet the requirements of the prints and specifications.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Estimate Engineering costs and requirements for quote submission to the Sales Department.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize and organize projects to be completed accurately and in a timely manner. </li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Assist the Quality department, when necessary, to ensure proper blueprint interpretation and development of part specific inspection processes.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Assist the Manufacturing Department as needed in the design and development of fixtures, tooling, processes, etc.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background:white">Continually strive and work for improvements for the Engineering Department in knowledge and education, ability and accuracy, speed and creativity. </li></ul> SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li style="text-align:justify">To perform this job an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Excellent mechanical and conceptual skills.</li></ul><ul><li style="text-align:justify">Strong, ambitious, motivated team player, with attention to detail and concern of importance.
