KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications Determine sequence of operations, setup methods, and number of cuts required Perform machining and sheet metal fabrication using manual and CNC equipment Set up and operate machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and press brakes Fabricate parts as per work instructions, drawings, and specifications Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments and gaging equipment Perform shop computations and select appropriate materials, parts, and tools Assemble and fit precision components Maintain, clean, adjust, and store tools and equipment properly Maintain records and reports related to equipment usage and production Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE Perform additional duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum 6 years of machinist experience OR Associate’s/technical degree with at least 2 years of machinist experience Experience with manual machining (lathe) and CNC machining. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, planning work sequences, operating manual and CNC machinery, and ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing operations.
