As we continue to innovate and grow, we are adding a new position to the Sonic Marketing leadership team, VP of Brand Experience. They will collaborate closely with the chief marketing officer to develop the annual strategic marketing plan, including brand positioning, business challenges and imperatives, and go-to-market strategies. The VP of Brand Experience role was created to oversee the execution of brand plans that meet topline goals. The leader will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, including agency partners, to maximize brand performance and ensure consistency across digital and physical touchpoints. They will serve as the key connector between Sonic and Inspire’s Commercial Group leaders in Digital Retail, Customer Marketing, and Consumer Insights. Additionally, they will manage the annual marketing calendar, promo/offer strategy, and major sponsorships & partnerships.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ol><li>Collaborate with Sonic Brand Senior Management and Commercial Group teams to develop annual and long-term strategies.</li><li>Support KPI tracking and ensure performance is monitored and addressed across activities and teams.</li><li>Standardize activities at collaboration points with shared services.</li><li>Engage franchisees in initiatives and marketing strategies; serve as the executive leader of the brand budgets.</li><li>Develop and maintain the national/open offer and promotional strategy, determining promotional focus for each product and segment.</li><li>Identify and develop growth opportunities across the full brand experience.</li><li>Manage the brand calendar strategy, incorporating cross-functional inputs and overseeing ad fund and commercial group allocations.</li></ol>QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS<ol><li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or related field; MBA or similar graduate degree preferred.</li><li>15+ years of experience in Strategy, Marketing, Research, Data Analytics, Consulting, or related fields.</li><li>10+ years in a brand leadership role managing teams and processes.</li><li>Strong business acumen with P&L fluency and a general manager mindset.</li><li>Deep understanding of brand DNA, including market size, competitive positioning, and target consumer segments.</li><li>Creative thinker and problem-solver capable of unlocking growth opportunities.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.</li><li>Self-starter and entrepreneurial leader, comfortable in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Proven ability to influence within a collaborative, matrixed organization.</li><li>Ability to develop and mentor team members.</li><li>High emotional intelligence, especially in franchisee relations.</li></ol>#J-18808-Ljbffr
