Check out our job openings and advance your career with a company that values its team members!A proven leader with people skills, a passion for patient care, and the drive to succeed.  Responsible for oversight of a designated market and provides supervision of both couriers and phlebotomists.  Adheres to and enforces departmental policies and procedures to include department programs, quality control, quality assurance, and safetyDuties & Responsibilities:<ul><li>Upholds all Sonic Core Values and ensures compliance with company policies and mandatory training.</li><li>Oversees daily operations in assigned territory, including specimen collection, processing, transport, and new account setups.</li><li>Maintains staffing levels, creates and manages work schedules, and provides phlebotomy coverage as needed.</li><li>Manages all aspects of HR functions: hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, performance management, and reviews.</li><li>Handles payroll operations, including timecard monitoring, PTO review, and timely payroll submission.</li><li>Participates in the Quality Management program, submitting reports and addressing errors in specimen handling and data entry.</li><li>Conducts routine audits at all locations to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.</li><li>Coordinates building maintenance and repairs, working directly with contractors as needed.</li><li>Oversees fleet vehicle maintenance and repair.</li><li>Collaborates with the sales team to support client retention and business growth.</li><li>Attends monthly and scheduled meetings at the Toledo main office.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>High School Diploma</li><li>5+ year’s phlebotomy experience</li><li>2+ years’ experience in a supervisory role.</li></ul>Licensure and Certifications:<ul><li>Required:  Phlebotomy Certificate</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:   <ul><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing     </li><li>Ability to work independently, be attentive to detail, and provide quality work</li><li>Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees, physicians, vendors, clients, and external agencies</li><li>Ability to demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology related to blood collection</li><li>Ability to operate medical tools and equipment in carrying out phlebotomy procedures</li><li>Ability to maintain the confidentiality of employee, patient, client, and company information at all times</li><li>Ability to demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws: federal and state regulations, including CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, Safety, and OSHA Regulations</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software</li></ul>Reporting Structure:This position reports directly to the Director the Operations.  This position directly manages and supervises both couriers and phlebotomists which includes a Lead for each area. Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Work Shift:1st Shift (United States of America)Job Category:Laboratory OperationsCompany:Pathology Laboratories, IncSonic Healthcare USA is an equal opportunity employer that celebrates diversity and is committed to an inclusive workplace for all employees.
