This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, customer service response, and general facility support across assigned competency areas, including electrical, mechanical/HVAC, plumbing/pipefitting, plant operations, pneumatic tube station repairs, structural repair, and general carpentry. Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: blood-borne pathogen exposure; bio-hazardous waste; chemicals, gases, fumes, and vapors; communicable diseases; electrical shock; floor surfaces; hot and cold temperatures; indoor and outdoor conditions; latex; lighting; patient care and handling injuries; radiation; shift work; travel may be required; and use of personal protective equipment, including respirators.
