<h4>Quick Facts</h4><ul><li><strong>Pay:</strong> Negotiable based on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities</li><li><strong>Location:</strong> Titusville (Sumter Co./Citrus Co.)</li><li><strong>Schedule:</strong> PRN, successful candidates will have 2-3 days of availability weekly from 7:00a-4:00p</li><li><strong>Employment type:</strong> W-2 or 1099</li><li><strong>Mileage:</strong> Currently $0.60 per mile (W-2)</li><li><strong>Reports to:</strong> Branch Director</li></ul><h4>What You'll Do</h4><ul><li>Deliver therapy under the PT's direction and physician's plan of care</li><li>Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain performance</li><li>Guide patients through exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and transfer training, and prosthetic training</li><li>Apply heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage as ordered</li><li>Report patient response and changes in condition to the PT</li><li>Teach patients to use wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices</li><li>Document care accurately and on time</li><li>Participate in Home Care Team meetings and inservice education</li><li>Take on other duties as assigned</li></ul><h4>Qualifications</h4><ol><li>Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with an Associate's degree in science or applied science approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.</li><li>Current certification or license as required by state law.</li><li>Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.</li><li>Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.</li></ol><h4>Physical Demands</h4><p>This role requires the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:</p><ul><li>Prolonged walking and standing</li><li>Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally</li><li>Lifting, positioning, and transferring patients (with assistance for patients over 50 lbs, per agency safe-handling policy)</li><li>Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching</li><li>Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to perform required duties</li></ul><h4>Health Requirements</h4><p>Required before providing patient care:</p><ul><li>Pre-employment physical screening, or a letter from a recent healthcare encounter confirming the candidate is free of communicable disease</li><li>Documented negative TB test (TST or TB blood test) taken within the past 12 months</li><li>TB risk assessment and symptom evaluation upon hire</li></ul><h4>Compensation & Benefits</h4><ul><li>Pay: Negotiable based on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities</li><li>401(k) retirement plan (W-2)</li><li>Supplemental benefits include critical illness and accident coverage (W-2)</li><li>Employee referral program</li></ul><h4>About Advanced Nursing Concepts</h4><p>Advanced Nursing Concepts provides one-on-one home health care to patients in their homes.
