Must include 8 years of experience in each of the following: Developing and optimizing product designs and materials to enhance performance and cost efficiency for disposable absorbent products; Validating raw materials and new product concepts, in collaboration with suppliers and internal labs; Characterizing materials (e.g., fluff pulp, SAP, nonwovens, films, adhesives) for performance attributes such as absorbency, rewet, retention, and/or softness; Navigating complex IP constraints to ensure freedom to operate and/or designing around existing patents to enable market access managing risks; and Working with super absorbent polymers and nonwoven materials (i.e. spunbond, meltblown, carded), selecting and validating them based on performance parameters, such as retention capacity, permeability, softness to optimize product design in absorbent hygiene products. Liaise with the global Product Portfolio Management team, supporting efforts to control product complexity, enabling commercial teams in volume growth initiatives, and ensuring harmonization and interchangeability across North American production sites.
