Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develops and implements care plans, evaluates progress, collaborates with the healthcare team, provides education to patients and families, participates in discharge planning, delegates duties, and performs other related duties. The position includes supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, as well as coordinating care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
