The Independent Study teacher AKA Educational Partner position requires overseeing a roster of students at various grade levels, collecting work samples across all subjects, and completing student portfolios every six weeks, meeting with parent and student every six weeks to discuss progress, completing semester report cards, and other duties as assigned . Currently, TLC has charters for all three school sites with sponsors from local districts including Chula Vista Elementary School District, Grossmont Union High School District, and San Diego Unified School District.
