The MDS Coordinator RN is responsible for managing and coordinating the accurate and timely completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), including the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Care Area Assessments (CAAs), care planning and supporting documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations. Prepares work assignment sheets, taking into consideration patient safety, the educational preparation, experience, knowledge and ability of the persons to whom the assignments are made.
