JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the maintenance and construction off all LIRR structural assets throughout the entire territory, including, but not limited to repairing wooden railroad bridges, trestles, tunnel supports, stations, platforms, overpasses, underpass, retaining walls and performing a variety of conventional carpentry, construction, concrete work, painting, general masonry work, tiling, and taping. OTHER INFORMATION: Employees driving company vehicles must complete defensive driver training once every three years for current MTA drivers; or within 180 days of hire or transfer for an employee entering an authorized driving position.
