The Level 1 Vascular Emergency program provides seamless and expert care to those patients with acute aortic syndromes, acute limb ischemia and pulmonary embolism that may need transfer to Piedmont Atlanta Hospital for definitive assessment and management. Across Georgia, Piedmont serves communities representing 85% of the state's population through 27 hospitals, 113 immediate care locations, 1,875 Piedmont Clinic physician practice locations, and more than 3,600 Piedmont Clinic members.
