Provides clinical and administrative support to the Pediatric Neurology Division by managing provider in- baskets, coordinating the Fast Track Clinic, processing medical records, obtaining prior authorizations for medications, imaging, EEGs, and Video EEGs, maintaining EMR documentation, and serving as a preceptor to junior Medical Assistants. The MA 2 works directly with the Nurse Manager/Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse and/or the Designee in charge of the Unit or Clinic to ensure a safe delivery of care that supports the UHealth mission.
