Education and ExperienceHS diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical/professional certification preferred5 years commercial refrigeration service, installation, or lab test experience (10 preferred) Required Knowledge and SkillsClear understanding of the vapor compression cycle - enthalpy and thermodynamics (superheat, subcooling, sensible and latent heat, product and food loads) and airflow (CFM, velocity FPM, static and velocity pressure).Understanding of metering devices - TXV, EXV, and cap tubes.
