Determines nursing staffing levels to meet the needs of the residents and ensures that sufficient number of licensed nurses and CNAs are scheduled to meet the daily nursing care needs of each resident. Is subject to call-back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).Is subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., as well as to reactions from dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants.
