The CMO directs the clinical staff, establishes clinical policy, governance and quality programs, and serves as the primary clinical liaison to the government, the Field Medical Coordinator (FMC), and facility leadership. Clinical governance oversight of the clinical staff, including physicians, mid-level providers, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health, in coordination with the Health Services Administrator (HSA).
