TYPICAL DUTIESInvestigates and/or inspects code violation complaints of new and existing residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural properties and hazardous conditions to ensure compliance with state and municipal laws, codes, and ordinances; locates, notifies, and interviews property owners of violation; takes photographs of violations; performs routine follow-up investigation to ensure compliance and notifies concerned parties of action taken; field checks areas and updates land use.
