Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; one year of experience; recent Electronic Medical Record (Epic) experience within the past six months; experience with medical-surgical, orthopedic trauma, cerebrovascular accident, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care and management, pre- and post-neurosurgery care, substance withdrawal, total joint replacement, traumatic brain injury, and wound care or wound vacuum therapy. Support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, unit secretaries, patient care technicians, patient transporters, and a discharge nurse supporting multiple departments.
