Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license in New York held at the time of submission; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; at least 2 years of experience; acute-care experience within the past 6 months; Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience using EPIC; experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response and code team activation, blood product administration, heparin protocols, intravenous therapy, peripheral line care and management, phlebotomy, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions and personal protective equipment. This 13-week travel assignment supports an acute-care unit requiring cardiac monitoring, emergency response, intravenous therapy, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management.
