Along with possession of welding/fabrication experience on heavy construction vehicles and equipment, knowledge and experience operating industrial shop equipment such as hydraulic brakes, shears, band saws, overhead cranes, presses, and related fabrication equipment as well as experience troubleshooting and repairing construction equipment and industrial machinery are strongly preferred. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years experience, education, and/or training in welding, metal fabrication, and/or related field which provides a basic knowledge of metallurgical science, blueprint interpretation, programing and operation of computer-controlled machines, welding techniques, and joining methods.
