Valid U.S. Driver’s License **Preferred Qualifications** + BA/BS + 6 yrs of relevant experience + MA/MS Civil Engineering + Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to obtain within 1 year + Proficient in the use of industry software such as GeoStudio, Grapher and AutoCAD Civil3D + Proficient in the characterization of mine waste materials + Field/Construction experience; tailings or dams experience a plus + Familiarity with and preparing design reports, drawings and specifications + Excellent Verbal and written communication skills + Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills + Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment + Exhibits initiative, responsibility and flexibility + Resourceful, highly organized, and detail oriented + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines + Effective time-management and interpersonal Skills + Ability to work independently and in a team environment **Additional Information** + Sponsorship will not be provided for this role. + Plans, implements, performs and oversees geotechnical exploration and laboratory testing programs (30% travel/field time) + Plans, overseas and performs geotechnical evaluations including material characterization, liquefaction, seepage, slope stability, and settlement analyses + Prepares and reviews calculation packages + Assisting with the development of geotechnical reports, drawings and specifications + Preparing and presenting technical presentations of evaluation results to internal and client teams + Review of geotechnical instrumentation and preparation of instrumentation monitoring reports **Qualifications** **Min Requirements** + BA/BS + 4 yrs of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency or experience and/or education.
