This interdisciplinary program develops advanced in vitro models of hematopoietic and immune system function such as conducting research at the intersection of microphysiological systems (Organs-on-Chips) and immunology. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design and execute experimental studies using advanced in vitro microvascular and tissue-engineered systems, including endothelial and stromal cell components</li><li>Establish and maintain multicellular cultures within three-dimensional microenvironments to investigate vascular function and ECM remodeling</li><li>Perform and optimize assays to evaluate vascular integrity, permeability, inflammatory signaling, and matrix-related processes</li><li>Contribute to development and refinement of experimental workflows, including matrix composition, cell seeding strategies, and system reproducibility</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate microvascular data with complementary model systems and analytical platforms</li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of experimental procedures and results</li><li>Analyze and interpret data, and contribute to preparation of manuscripts, reports, and grant applications</li><li>Mentor trainees and assist in training of laboratory personnel as needed</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Vascular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field</li><li>Experience with primary human endothelial and stromal cell culture and/or multicellular in vitro systems</li><li>Background in extracellular matrix biology, tissue remodeling, or microenvironmental regulation</li><li>Strong experimental design, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><div>Preferred:</div><ul><li>Experience with three-dimensional culture systems or Organs-on-Chips</li><li>Familiarity with assays for vascular permeability, matrix remodeling, or mechanobiology</li><li>Experience with imaging-based, biophysical, or quantitative molecular analyses</li><li>Experience working in interdisciplinary teams integrating biology and engineering</li></ul>#M3 Ref: #558-Scientific

Overall Purpose: The DMS Model Analyst role with direction from the OMS Manager is to ensure the model import process is completed in a timely manner and minimize the impact to daily operations. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the review, load, and maintenance of the OMS/DMS model. Perform change set review for eMap Model imports to understand what is currently in the model, the changes that are being imported, and the impact to the production model. Perform periodic eMap model imports into lower-level environments to allow for testing of patches and configurations and Operator training. Work with the Operations Center to ensure appropriate timing and validity of circuit changes. Produces abnormal circuit reports and communicates long term abnormal circuits to the GIS Team. Works with the ODMS & GIS team to validate and correct any incorrect premise to transformer relationships and other issues discovered within the GIS data. Participate in DMS & DERMS project activities to understand the model dependencies, the additional data needed for these applications, and the additional functionality that they provide. Work closely with the IT OMS support to ensure the ELT process is performant and assist in troubleshooting where necessary. Coordination with SCADA team to ensure that eMap model stays in sync (per defined process) with SCADA model and corresponding SCADA displays. Participate in Patch & regression testing of the Maestro and eMap products when new versions of OMS, DMS, GIS and other supporting applications are applied. Support the future substation model build and maintenance in the DMS model. Triage Import issues with the support of the vendor. Education/Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as engineering, GIS, computer science, and others In lieu of a bachelor's degree, equivalent education and experience will be considered. Three (3) 3 years' experience. Experience with ESRI GIS Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the ESRI Utility Network Experience with the OSI Electra OMS and/or Spectra DMS platform Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products. Excellent software troubleshooting experience. Extensive application support experience with utility software Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems Competence with testing, flowchart, and data mapping tools and procedures Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
